Scary Stories

Published by gerberink at 11:57 am under Daily News Edit This

If you like being scared, there are many books you can find to that will satisfy this urge. Some books have fictional stories of hauntings, possessions and other horrifying creatures that will be great for late night reading.  Some of my favorites include:

  • Bram Stoker’s Dracula
  • Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
  • Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

On the other hand, if you are looking for some non-fiction, books that showcase actual ghost sightings, then there are many books that will give you true accounts of what people have seen, heard and felt.  These books will have stories that can be anything from recent occurrences to those that occurred hundreds of years ago.  Some of my favorites are:

  • Haunted Ohio III by Chris Woodyard
  • Ghosts of Gettysburg VI by Mark Nesbitt
  • Savannah’s Ghosts by Al Cobb
  • Incredible Pirate Tales by Tom McCarthy (they are at least based on some true stories!)

Not the sit-down-and-read-a-book type? Check out these websites if you are looking for some interesting ghosts stories:

My website is also up and running again if you’d like to read some of my ghost stories:
